'wind'

Another classical guitar made in the traditional Spanish style.

I made a series of five guitars based on “The Book of Five Rings”,  a text on kenjutsu written by legendary swordsman, Miyamoto Musashi, with one guitar made for each chapter: Water, Fire, Earth, Wind, and Emptiness. This is is the fourth guitar in the series.

While wind can be extremely dangerous and powerful, the design of this guitar was inspired by the calm, gentle wind that lazily rolls fallen leaves across the forest floor. I used a lot of light coloured wood with only green and blue detail.

The top is European Spruce, and the back and sides are American Maple.
